Primary Residence
FEMA is updating the Primary Residence guidance to allow a policyholder and policyholder’s spouse to have more than one primary residence. This change will accommodate circumstances where each spouse may reside more than 50 percent of the year at a separate residence. The policyholder and policyholder’s spouse can each have one primary residence provided that they submit the required supporting documentation for each residence.
